Zero Nic, or e-liquids as they are more colloquially known, are the liquids used in vaping devices like vaporisers, e-cigarettes and pod systems. They contain a combination of flavourings, nicotine and a base fluid of either Propylene Glycol (PG) or Vegetable Glycerine (VG).

When heated to a high temperature, these liquids produce visible aerosol clouds, and also release a variety of chemical substances that can be inhaled into the lungs. These include the cancer-causing formaldehyde, and the volatile compounds diacetyl and acetaldehyde that are linked to the formation of acrolein. These chemicals can cause inflammation of the lungs over time and are not considered healthy for regular use.

A wide range of delicious flavourings can be added to a base liquid to produce different types of e-liquids, from traditional tobacco and menthol blends, to fruity delights and dessert-inspired concoctions. Some brands specialise in creating more unique, exotic flavours, providing a whole new world of taste sensations.

The choice of e-liquid will depend on your personal preference and the device you are using. Tobacco e-liquids will usually have higher concentrations of nicotine, and a stronger throat hit, whilst VG-based blends tend to provide more dense vapor clouds.

It is important to choose a high quality e-liquid that has been manufactured and tested in accordance with the Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) regulations. By purchasing from reputable brands and following usage and storage instructions, you can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
